In the time following the diagnosis of a serious health problem, or the beginnings of a dissability it is important that individuals and families recieve suitable support. At these times previous family difficulties can increase as well as new difficulties emerging. The difference in quality of life for everyone can be figuring out how to live, and relate, to each other in the midst of these long term difficulties.
Through my work with families where someone has sustained an Aquired Brain Injury I have developed specialist skills in enabling families to be together in a way which is more rewarding and enjoyable for everyone.
